Bedfords Staff Take The First Click
Birstall based logistics management specialist, Bedfords Transport, recently joined the BBC’s ‘Take the first click’ campaign to help staff improve their internet skills.
Throughout December the Bedfords IT team will be giving their services free to help staff improve their skills on the internet. The offer is also open to partners. Members of the IT team will be available to answer any questions staff may have relating to getting online, browsing the internet, security worries, email, social networking or any and all generic computer and tablet questions.
The First Click campaign aims to reassure people that they are not alone in thinking that they might not possess the skills needed to use the internet.
Bedfords is family owned company and has always believed in promoting the wellbeing and education of its workforce. The Take the First Click campaign is just one example of the many tangible benefits Bedfords makes available to all staff that work for the organisation.
IT Manager, Ben Rowe said: “As a company we have lots of people with different expertise. Participating in the Take the First Click campaign means that by just giving up a little of our time we can transfer some of these skills, which could potentially benefit the company along with the individuals who take part.”
